I Am really racking my brains but I don't understand how i am able to broad cast with podcast option but not the regular broadcast option . On my lap top it works perfect but not on my desktop . I checked for port 8000 and i went through all the trouble shooting steps but nothing .
Basically i can broadcast with with podcast option but not the regular broadcast page. when i go to listen it tells me i cannot connect even though it appears that i am broadcasting from vdj software . I don't know why my desk top computer port 8000 is not reachable but on my laptop it is .
Maybe some one has an idea .

Probably just need port forwarding and open port.

as mentioned i did all the trouble shooting with that exact info . port is 8000 app goes through fire wall . I have no anti virus .
I just need to know what do do next

I resolved it . I had to set my router to read port 8000 . Odd that with my laptop I had no action to correct as there was no issue
