OK, have progressed with the previous problems, but I still have an issue with Deck 2 and no audio.
I am running VDJ Pro on a Mac with operating system Yosemite. I have selected the controller and have deck 1 assigned to channels 1 & 2 with deck 2 on channels 3 & 4. Deck one works fine. Deck 2 works but there's no audio.
I am using a Denon DN-HC4500
Can anyone offer any advice/insight as to why this is and how I can get it fixed?
Thanks a million

Still using that old thing eh? Did it ever require drivers for Mac?
If it didn't then you probably just need to set it as a four channel device in your Mac audio config.

Its a very old controller.

Will work, but you need a little bit of tweak to it, if you read above thread it should be explained there ;-)
Requires to be setup as multi-sound in Windows/Mac, and sensitive to khz settings if I remember right ...

It works perfectly well! Used in a studio, so none of the new things are any good, as don't need a mixer etc...
thank you for the link, however I am using a mac. It didn't drivers no, and I have updated the firmware.

Weird that deck 1 works OK. Deck 2 works but no audio.
If I change the settings to all work on one channel, that's fine, but in a radio environment, that's not always best
Any help very much appreciated

Thanks for this, although nothing on there applicable sadly. The audio output on the mac is set to the 4500 and as I mentioned, it does work fine when either selecting 'speaker output' or just playing deck 1... if you try and do separate decks, there's no audio on 2

1. Go to Applications >> Utilities >> Audio MIDI Setup
2. Select DN-HC4500 from the menu on the left
3. Make sure under "output" you have the following setting for "format": 44100.0 Hz, 4ch - 16bit
If you have done all that, maybe post a screenshot of your sound settings?

Yes it was applicable. It was the same info that Rune posted after me.

MacOS has changed like a hundred times since that post.
Search for midi, will be something there no doubt.
