Pretty annoying but I lost all my cuepoints. Is there a way to retrieve them and do you lose cuepoints if you re-analyze a tracks?

They dont get lost by themselves.. .
So how to retrieve them depends a bit on what you did.. .
Did you move to a new computer, did you uninstall (AND remove old version) or?

I have not moved anything. I did have a disconnected external drive and had to reboot. No changes

I looked at the volume and found a 2020-05-25-23-29-01 broken database
Comparing the current database and the one labelled broken I see:
