Hi Guys,
I just made a big mistake: I plugged in the wrong power adapter (12V 2A) into my Gemini G2V (5V 2A) and it wouldn't work anymore since then.
I asked at a local tech-store for repair and he was saying that there isn't a high chance to get the device back working.
So what are my options now?
-> Is there a possible way to get it back working?
-> could a buy a new G2V and will it be compatible with my original Home Plus license?
I hope there is a way to help me, thanks in advance,

If you've fried the internals then repairing it is probably impossible or likely to cost more than controller itself.
If you replacing a controller like for like then it will work with your existing license.

If there are internal fuses then there is a chance that one has blown, but having never seen the internals I couldn't say.
Have you contacted Gemini for their thoughts? They should at least have a technical department that could advise.
