there seems to be no way to broadcast the mic without hearing it on your speakers
the digital delay can be distracting when talking through the mic
I think a routing option would be very useful whereby we can route the mic to the recording/broadcast, but not to the main output
perhaps a kind of "booth output" with optional exclusion of the mic
currently i believe the only workaround is to broadcast using a separate software, where the mic is introduced to the signal chan after the audio leaves virtual dj

The booth output indeed has a setting to exclude mic, so you can just change your master to booth output in your audio config
