hi everybody
weird issue..
i have milkdrop installed on my desktop :
hp desktop win10 64 bit & vdj 2020 (32 bit) (8.4 5454)
i5 3th gen
8 gb ram
intel hd graphics
dx12 installed
all windows drivers & updates are up-to-date
it works fine
when i try it on my other laptops :
hp laptop win10 64 bit & vdj 2020 (32 bit) (8.4 5402 stable version)
i5 3th gen
8 gb ram
intel hd 4000 graphics
dx12 installed
all windows drivers & updates are up-to-date
&
hp pavillion ,win10 64 bit & vdj 2020 (32 bit) (8.4 5402 stable version)
i7 8th gen
12 gb ram
4 gb nvidia graphics card & intel hd graphics
dx12 installed
all windows drivers & updates are up-to-date
&
dell laptop win10 64 bit & vdj 2020 (32 bit) (8.4 5402 stable version)
i3 3rd gen
6 gb ram
intel hd 4000 graphics
dx12 installed
all windows drivers & updates are up-to-date
it does not work..
i get a skin flickering & skin color change and the visualization stays black
is there something i am missing ?
any clues ?
i know about the shaders and i use some of them, but i am wondering as to why milkdrop works on the desktop and not the other laptops..
shaders are fine but milkdrop is also great (unless there would be a reason not to use them like maybe crashing the system or else)
thanks a lot for your time

Did you install via the installer? I ran in to this ages ago I didn't use the installer I copied the files from one rig to another and got flickering. Using the installer fixed it for me.

Yes, install was made through the installer within vdj-extensions

What I can see from your list is that it works with VDJ 5454 but not 5402.
I suggest you try updating one of the 5402 systems to 5454 and see what happens.

Actually it has been working that way since 8.3.
It just worked through all the versions (beta & public release)

I have the same issue. It doesn't seem to be related to the directx9 or 12 or whatever. It just doesn't work. I must say I have this problem on my desktop with AMD ryzen5 1400 Quad-Core 3.2 Ghz processor. 8.00 GB Ram memory and NVIDEA GeForce GTX950.
I hope to find an answer.

You can still use 32 bit VDJ if Milkdrop is that important to you.
