Topic: Can virtualDJ 2020 and ver 8 be installed on the same Mac?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I currently have the latest ver 8 installed, when I try to install vdj2020 it goes through the whole process and it says it installs it but, its no where to be found.

Mac Book Pro 2013 running High Sierra.

Thank you.

VDJ 2020 is the latest version of VDJ 8. Just run VDJ the way you normally do, and you should see the new 2020 skin(s).

It looks like all I have on my machine now is 8.4 which if I understand correctly is 2020 then. This means I don't have the old one anymore. I guess I'm ok then.

Yes, calling the new update 2020 is just Atomix's way of announcing the new default skins. Underneath it's just v8.4.

It's a bit confusing, I was looking for something that said "VirtualDJ 2020", not 8.4.

"VirtualDJ 2020" it's "user friendly name" or "commercial name"; "8.4" it's "technical" version: it's the same thing.
