When in pad editor with sixteenPadsMode set to 'on' select "Shift-Pads" and edit one of the pads with a verb with a big description such as "get_text" then switch back to Pads tab
The edit zone shrink down to 0 pix, the select buttons for pads resize half their size in an attempt to display the whole text of the description
