Hey am I missing something or is it not possible to AUTO sync the" beatkeeper" of 2 tracks by pushing a button? It seems that it cannot be scripted?

Do scripts only support ms and s? No chance for bpm relative timings (bars etc)?

thx but this is not what i was looking for. on top of the waveforms is the beatkeeper... it counts the beats of the phase 1,2,3,4,....16. I want to beat or phase sync tracks. When Deck A is on beat 3 of the beatkeeper (phase) i want Deck B to start witch beat 3 - independently if it would usually start a beat 1 etc.

Do you understand what i mean? ;)

You just need to set the globalQuantize option to 4 beats then

thank you, just tested.... does not work:( tried "4" and "16"...no luck

if the custom button is pressed and deck a is in bar 14 of 16 for example, i want deck b to be in bar 14 of 16, too

If you're bringing a new track in when the playing track is somewhere other than "the one" then you need to cue your incoming track to the appropriate place first, then bring it in on whatever "off beat" you're using/wanting.

You can't expect the software to know that you're bring tracks in on the "wrong" beat.

the beatkeeper is exactly a helper for finding the "right beat".

since it guesses what is beat 1 and beat 2 and...beat 16 it does not make sense if there's no automatic function for syncing the beat position of two tracks within a bar/phase
