I have VDJ2018 to play all my backing tracks for my gigs. I currently have another person who manually controls my lights and sound. I want to be able to do gigs myself and have all my lights pre-programmed. I have a small lighting set-up which I hope to expand but currently have: icolor4, laser, strobe, couple of LED par cans, fog machine.
I have downloaded ShowXpress on my laptop (windows). I have watched tutorial videos but trying to get my head around how it all works together,
Do I use the timeline mode on ShowXpress to create what I want, make that into one scene and then create a single cue point on VDJ2018? OR do I have to create all the scenes I want then add them in multiple cue points on VDJ2018?
im very new to lighting so its all pretty confusing right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
