i have the hercules mk4 dj controller, it works with my old laptop (windows xp) in that all of the buttons work all the buttons light up etc. i can use the slides, scratcher everything
but on my new laptop (windows 10) none of the buttons work there is power to the controller the but it only allows the dj controller to run the sound no buttons work no slides no scratcher
virtual dj recognizes the controller
this is how it is set i don't have any other choices:
master 3-Hercules DJ Console MK4 (WASAPI) chan 1 & 2
headphones 3-Hercules DJ Console MK4 (WASAPI) chan 3 & 4

Hi,
It seems there are some problems with usb3 ports
Make sure the last driver HDJCSeries PC [2018.HDJS.2] is installed correctly. This may modify the name of audio ports
Mine works like charm with USB2 port; and not good with USB3 port. If possible try USB2 better than USB3
If it does not work, take a look at the dedicated page for this controler : https://support.hercules.com/en/product/djconsolemk4-en/
(Note this is my home account, M4K & 4-MX are both used with a Pro Infinity version for years with no problem)
