Anyone know how to stream MP4s to a tv with a flash drive? I create alot of advertising for a local charity club and would like to stream them on one of the TVs.

No AMAN, I thought from a flash drive. But I'm starting to figure out you need a hardware component to sit between the flashdrive and the TV.

I think he wants to stick the flash drive into a USB slot on the TV and have it play the video files.

Depends on the TV of course, which he's not given any details on.

a roku can do that

make sure the one you get has a USB port most of the cheap ones do not https://www.roku.com/products/roku-ultra

then you get it set up at home and install the app for playing media off usb drives

i have 3 roku 3 at home use them to do this ll the time :-)

Hey Wicked, thanks for the idea, it sparked a few thoughts. What I have found is it takes hardware called Digital Signage Display Adapter, that you can feed with a stick or external hard drive. These things loop, and that's a necessity. Reliable ones run above
$200.
