I'm sure this has been covered before, but I am having problems solving this issue.
I can't seem to solve my broadcasting "error" issue that states the following:
"need to open up port 8000 in firewall to be reachable for incoming connections"
1) I have a Mac Pro with El Capitan as the OS.
2) I have Verizon FIOS.
Any help would be appreciated. A step-by-step or video tutorial would be awesome.
Thanks!

Well what have you tried so far?
Did you try Google? For example this is one of the top results.

When I try and broadcast through the Virtual DJ it keeps saying I need to open port 8000.
So, I Googled how to do that, with no luck following the instructions.
I've tried what was listed in the link you sent: https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/how-open-specific-ports-in-os-x-1010-firewall-3616405/.
I even Googled how do I open Port 8000 on my Verizon FIOS router, and the directions I found were not specific to the interface I see on my FIOS router interface. In other words, the interface layouts I see in various online tutorials are different from the what I see on my computer (Mac)
