Topic: Recommended controllers for video mixing ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello,
Am about to buy the Pro version of Virtual DJ, mainly for VJing purposes.
Am looking for recommendations for a controller. Don't have a massive budget, so am looking for something under £200.
Although I am mainly interested in the VJing side of things, I might also use a controller for DJing too.
Any recommendations gratefully received.
thanks !

Actually the 8+ years old "MixVibes VFX CONTROL" that was just added in a recent build is described as good for video mixing when you look it up
I bought one just because it looked fun (and they were almost out of stock)
I can't figure out why it would be especially good for video mixing though...
But it's pretty fun for regular audio mixing :)

I use a very small & cheap controller for karaoke called "DJ2GO" , it works well for the over 5 years!

Use since 2011 a VMS 2 for Music Mixing in my Mobile disco, the Controller run we by the First day i have buyed, but for Video mixing that is good enough too.
But think you become this to buy only at second hand.
Eventually you find a shop with a new VMS 2

Other is you buy a 4 Channel Controller we the VMS 4.1 or VMS 5 or
VMS4 Traktor = (VMS4.1)have a traktor Sign on Console.

Buy not the Old normal VMS 4 ,thay have not a good soundcard.
