Started VDJ
Updated to the latest version
Restarted program.
VDJ error about the database being corrupt. It fixes itself, I have NO music.
Restart laptop.
Now I have my folders and favourites, but NO MUSIC.
Had to rescan entire drive, and now I have no history, can't sort by most recent plays, or most recent adds.
Also all my cue points etc are gone.
Annoying.

Yes if your database.xml file is gone, the cuepoints, first played, last played, bpm, key and so on is gone
That's why it's important back it up, because a little operating system incident can quickly corrupt such a text file
But the history should still be in playlists in in your /documents/virtualdj/history folder and subfoldes, unless you also lost those, or fully uninstalled VDJ including all files
