I have Virtual DJ 8 on an HP laptop connected to a Pioneer DDJ-SB2 controller via USB. I have 4 decks open. Decks 1 and 3 (the left side) have no problems. Decks 2 and 4 (the right side) work fine...until they don't.
Usually, all 4 decks work equally well, audio works, decks work, no problem and then deck 2 or 4 stops working. Sometimes it happens in the middle of a song, sometimes it happens while I'm playing something on the left side. Sometimes they'll start working again, sometimes they won't work again until after I've closed virtual DJ and restarted.
Brand new laptop, controller and cables.
Used at multiple venues.
Has happened with different files at different times. Doesn't happen with the same tracks when I try to recreate the issue.
Audio is fine on all 4 decks (until the right side stops playing).
Everything else on decks 2 and 4 work fine when this happens. I can set cues, pause the track, adjust the placement with the jogwheel, I can load a different song,etc. everything works except for playing the track.
Tried to play tracks with controller, and with software-neither worked.
