Hello, I just bought an Akai AMX and want to map it so that I can scrub through songs. I want to map a combo so that if I hold "Search 1" or "Search 2," and then rotate the (endless) Gain knob, I can scrub through a song to set cue points, as if I was using a jogwheel on a larger controller. I'm new to mapping. Many thanks!

you can do that already by holding "search1" or "2" and turning the browse knob.

Sorry if I'm off topic, but how would I be able to do this using "shift" and "browse" on my Reloop Neon Pad?????
(working outside of home and don't have my controller with me, gonna order the DJ2GO2)
sorry, didn't realize this was a v7 discussion....

Thanks vdj_pARtybOy -
That works for jumping quickly through a song but does not have fine enough tuning to cue up an exact cue point. Once I'm near the place I want to be, how can I fine tune?

try this on the "browse" knob :
var '$bend' 1 ? param_bigger 0 ? deck left speedwheel +0.01 1.5 : deck left speedwheel -0.01 1.5 : var '$bend2' ? param_bigger 0 ? deck right speedwheel +0.01 1.5 : deck right speedwheel -0.01 1.5 : browser_scroll
this way it will slowly scroll trought the track.
