It's an alternative BPM analyzer that should give you better BPM detection than the current/old one
I followed some beta testing on it, and there it was stated that it succeeds in detecting correct BPMs on more tracks than the old one
It's currently included as option, so that you don't have to use it if you like the old analyzer.
You have to enable it in the settings to start using it, and then rescan a file (or a lot of files) to test it.
When enabled it will then also be the analyzer used for new files
