so, I'm trying to live broadcast with music and voice and for some reason, no matter what I try, I cant get my mic volume to broadcast at louder than an almost whisper.
I have my microphone level at 100 and I have immediate mode unchecked and noise cancellation checked in my sound options.
I have master and mic set to channels 1 and 2 and channel 1 (mono) respectively on virtual DJ 8
all my drivers are up to date and I have no issues using my mic at a regular volume in apps outside of VDJ8
is there any advice anyone can give?

I forgot to mention I'm just using the headset and microphone plugged into my sound card.

I too am running into this problem, not that I have all that strong of voice to begin with. I'm running VDJ v8.2 build 3780.1324 using ShoutCAST DNAS v2 under Windows 10 (developer edition, continuously updated automatically). I'm using a pro-grade mic with phantom power applied to it which is connected to the pc via sound card. With every other app, the mic sounds just fine. But, when I want to switch VDJ to voice, it is VERY quiet at best, even when I speak loudly enough to be heard by neighbors. Oddly enough, if I record to a file and insert it into my playlist, I sound fine.

As I intend to offer live vocal content, this won't work very well. I plan to go live with the full format in early August, but may have to delay until a solution to this problem can be found. Any help from others would be greatly appreciated. :)

How is the microphone configured? Could you take a screenshot of the audio config in vdj?

Do you see the mic vu meter in vdj going up?
