Are you aware of any issues with VDJ 8.2 b35.23 and the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M Graphics Driver update 376.09

I am having major problems using the dedicated graphics card on my HP Pavilion 15-ak009na Gaming Laptop.

Everything runs badly, jittering and the lyrics on the karaoke are all out of sync and lock up along with HD videos etc.

I have even tried rolling back the graphics driver, and get the same problems.

Luckily, I have switchable graphics and I'm currently running the system on the Intel HD 530 graphics on-board.

Any advice welcomed.

Thank you

Glenn

Here's my issue that I'm having with my NVidia GTX 960M. Not sure if this issues similar?

I made a video in youtube to see the issues at marks :07, :17, 1:31, 1:51.

The latest update has not fixed the issue.

Update:

So I have tried everything I know off...

Rolled back VDJ 8.2 to previous builds

Rolled back the Nvidia drivers

Turned on / off hardware acceleration DXVA

Cleaned up my system and checked / confirmed optimisation of laptop...

Seems very strange that everything worked fine before the latest Nvidia update !!
The laptop runs perfectly fine under the Integrated graphics chip - Intel HD 530 ... Very smoothly, but not with the dedicated card :(

When you installed the nvidia drivers, did you try to check the 'clean install' checkbox to make sure it removes any previous settings?

Just tried upgrading to 376.09 here (gtx 960m) and everything still plays smooth when the nvidia is selected.

I'll always do a clean install when I update my Nvidia drivers...

So, I've now rolled back the Nvidia driver to ver. 375.95 and everything [touch wood] seems to be working fine again.

I've also removed all the Nvidia Experience software from the laptop for now.

Relax. We're all trying to work through our various issues. It's helpful to know if symptoms are similar or completely different.

So it seems Nvidia have listened, and now released an updated / fixed driver version: 376.19

I have now Installed this driver and all seems to be fine - however, if I have problems again, I'll just roll back to 375.95

Merry Christmas
