Topic: Set Up Virtual DJ 8.2 to CDJ 1000's

Evening Guys,

i really wanna set my laptop running VDJ 8.2 up to CDJ 1000's which in a club i resident at, but i wanna know do i have to download the drivers or will VDJ automatically find them like it does with other controller ?

also can i just plug straight into the laptop or do i need to get a interface ?

CDJ-1000s are not controllers. They're CD players.

To use them with Virtual DJ you'd need to set up a timecode system.
 
You can use them as midi Controllers thou as I have seen many djs do it without a timecode system aswell
 
CDJ-1000s do not have any MIDI capability. They're CD players, not controllers.
