Is there anyway to make the beatgrid FX reflect on the video as well??

Kinda like when we use loop roll.

Yes, use the current early access build (3278) and enable the 'Video' option in the beat grid plugin.

Cut would be so much better if the controls were reversed.

For me personally I have no need for a wet/dry when it comes to the cut FX and the way it stands no I have to hold down shift to change the cut. Meaning I have to use 2 hands for a simple FX!! Ugh!!

Maybe Scott will change it one day, lol!! Or make a TSI version with the controls reversed, lmao!!
 
Just been looking at cut VSTs I've got, and I'd say my idea of best would be, a gui like beatgrid fx except 8 divisions per beat, 8 slots to save patterns, [dial 1] wet dry [dial 2] and an invert patterns button.
