Hi I am new to virtual DJ. I have been using a laptop with 8gb ram, i7 cpu with nvidia graphics(2gb).
after playing music videos for a while(30mins - 2hrs) the videos freezes. When I play the next track the video screen goes blank. I checked out the task manager performance and noticed that it said free pysical memory was only 18mb.
Just wondering if the problem would be that the system needs 16gb ram.
Any help would be great.

test this settings to see how it works for your laptop.
1. Make sure VDJ is using the Nvidia graphics and not the Intel (if there is any).
Config/Options:
2. Set DXVA to "No"
3. Set Videomaxmemory to 128
Test those out (if any problems, try increasing the videomaxmemory 128,256,512 etc....)
then play with the DXVA setting "YES"
You should post this in the V8 section cause V7 don't have "Controllerist" version/license).
