I have the latest VDJ version and I'm using Win 10. When I edit and save the Artist and Title fields in Tag Editor it no longer changes it in the Title and Contributing Artist fields in Windows. It still does change the Name field in Windows when the Filename field in Tag Editor is edited. I tried changing the Artist field using Windows but it did not update in VDJ.
I downloaded ID3-TagIt (an ID3 tool) and discovered that Win 10 is only shows ID3v1.x data. In the tool I switch back and for between ID3v1 and ID3v2 and only v1 Artist and Title fields are blank. It seems VDJ is only writing to v2. I searched the settings in VDJ (TAGS, FORMAT, ID3) and I didn't see anything related to this to make a change. Any ideas?

see this blog -> http://www.virtualdj.com/user/wickedmix/blogs/5246/id3_Tag_Support_in_VDJ8.html
ID3v1 is not supported by vdj8 more info at the link
info about windows tag support can be found here -> https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd743220%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
Windows Explorer and Windows Media Player cannot handle ID3v2.4 tags in any version, up to and including Windows 10 / Windows Media Player 12. Windows can understand ID3v2 up to and including version 2.3

By default virtualdj will write id3v2.3 btw, but if there is already an id3v2.4 tag, then vdj will keep it in that format.
