Topic: Closing Virtual DJ 8, shows "quit unexpectedly" message

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello.
I have macbook pro 13'' retina 2014 - El Capitan, Virtual DJ Pro 8 Infinity, Thunderbolt to hdmi adapter.
So my problem is that after several hour of usage, let say playing or automix videos for 5 hours or more and then when i close the program after 5 seconds this message appears on screen '' Virtual DJ 8 quit unexpectedly "

It was the same on Yosemite and also on fresh install of El Capitan. I really don't know, where the problem is.
In this link ''dropbox" I'm sending log file if someone can help me?

Thank you in advance.

First thing that sticks out to me in the log is the showlogo plugin.

Have you tried disabling the plugin then closing VDJ?

I tried that and after several hours no problems, I just turn of showlogo8 before quiting the program, will test more.
Thank you very much.

I also have another question but don't have log file.
Sometimes when I'm checking settings I get an error, but don't know what couses it. Is it also showlogo8 plugin maybe?

Yes, that's a problem with ShowLogo8; I will fix it with an update shortly :)

I see you have this issue when closing VDJ. Has VDJ literally ever unexpectedly closed on you, while in the middle of a song/video?

No, never experienced that kind of issue, that VDJ close by itself (knock, knock), but I did find like 3 times when browsing the settings in the middle of my set, that there was an error, not that kind, but like SBDJ said is probably that also plugin related I hope...
When I stop the plugin before quitting the app everything is fine for now :)

I edited the title of the thread, so it was not so confusing.
