Hello,
I like how, when using Virtual DJ, if I make changes to a .mp3 file, those changes are automatically applied to the associated .cdg file. (These are file formats used by KJs, the CDG file holds the video that plays on the screen, normally containing lyrics for the singer)
Examples:
If I rename the .mp3 file through Virtual DJ using Tag Editor, the .cdg file is automatically renamed along with the .mp3.
If I move the file from one folder to another using File Operations > Move To..., the .cdg file is moved to the destination with the .mp3.
However, when I use File Operations > Delete, it just deletes the .mp3 and leaves the .cdg file behind. This means I end up with a ton of orphan .cdg files as I groom my song selection.
So what I end up having to do is: File Operations > Open In Finder, then manually select the .cdg, then in Virtual DJ use File Operations > Delete, wait for the .mp3 to be deleted from the file folder, then in Finder select Move To Trash for the .cdg. Then close the window and I'm back in Virtual DJ.
Imagine if I could just confidently select File Operations > Delete, and know that the .cdg will be deleted along with the .mp3. Huge time saver :)
I combined two of my karaoke folders and ended up with a few thousand duplicates. Also, some karaoke makers re-release the same tracks in subsequent CD packs, so I'll end up with a 2006 Sunfly and a 2011 Sunfly of the same song. When someone asks for a song, and I notice I have duplicates, I like to delete the dupes right away. I'd like to delete the 2006 and just keep the 2011, but having to manually delete the .cdg each time is quite time consuming. Especially when I'm fielding song requests.
Hope this makes sense!

Can someone from the VDJ team please reply to this?
It does not seem like a technically challenging fix to make, and it would be extremely helpful.
