Hi Folks im looking for some good advice on where is the best place for to put music on Mac so use it on VDJ 7 ,I have transfered music from pc on to hard drive and then put it in a folder name Music on desktop on mac is that the best to do ? I have my music in files from 60s through to present day but im new to Mac and would like advice form experance user .

what I did, I made a new folder in hard drive icon and named it dj music

just im finding it frustrating finding music in folders .. I have music which I know I have on hard drive but when im searchin it on vdj 7 database its not there but when I go onto mac under music an type on what Im looking for its there on my hard drive !! what am I doing wrong ?

Try opening VDJ7, and adding your music folder to your VDJ7 database. Or allow vd7 to analyze your music folder.
In other words, if VDJ7 isn't showing it, then it doesn't know it exists.
