I am using VDJ pro subscriber 8 and OS X El Capitan... every time I would try and start VDJ it would lock up and I have to force quit before it would even open, did this several times to me once at a gig. I had to uninstall VDJ and reinstall it, shut off all auto updates for both OS X and VDJ and that seems to have solved the problem.
