Reading page 38 of manual regarding Sidelist.
1) I have set RemovePlayedFromSidelist set to YES But playing a track does not get a red line through after a certain play length and it also does not get removed when song is finished ( assume it should)
So at the moment i can't see it has been played, and it does not get removed.
EDIT OK dragging to deck causes this, load it double click or with controller functions correctly
2) Should i also have option to RESET SORT ORDER by rightclicking header ( like in playlists)?

Actually it does offer reset sort order in side list on vdj8 reboot, but goes when you add a track to side list, then appears on program reboot again ( bit odd) as it does nothing as far as i can see

On first boot the list is loaded from disk, and the sort order can be called up again from disk.
Automix and sidelist are not saved to disk on every change, so as soon as you add a file, there is no order to go back to.

Ok i understand that, but why have the option in side list on boot when right clicking head columns? Surely there is nothing to reset unless it has been pre loaded before turning on at a gig.
if i add tracks before gig, close vdj then open at gig i can sort that list until i add any requests.( then i can't)
Surely the Side List is for dumping request etc in, not preset lists, that is what a playlist is used for.
The reset order makes no sense in side list if you can only reset pre dropped tracks.
I,m sure there is some logic behind this, just struggling with what that might be
