Build 2425 Mac side will not save my settings. Ive deleted the setting XML and started over yet EVERY time I re open VDJ I have to redo every single setting which makes VDJ useless for me yet again............come on already.

VDJ is not recreating the settings XML after I've deleted it.
I don't have any previous builds. I live life on the edge, lol! I have a copy of 7 but only the latest build of 8 is on my Mac.

If settings.xml is deleted and launch VirtualDJ and when closed the file is not created, then nothing is wrong with the file you have already (actually i dont see anything wrong with it).
Reason not saving is probably related to read/write permissions.
BTW, i just checked with 2425, deleted settings, launched, closed and the file was created fine. (Mac OSX 10.10 here)
Goto your Documents folder and right-click on the VirtualDJ folder...choose Get Info. Scroll down and check the Permissions part. Do you get read/write permissions for your username ?
Try also from Utilities-->Disk Utility to repair Disk Permissions (will take a couple of minutes), then restart your computer and try again.

Just tried your steps Bob and guess what, VDJ still does not create a settings XML and yes every disk on my Mac is set to read/write.
It has been a very, very long time since I've used VDJ live and I guess nothing is going to change anytime soon.
I loose sound on my mixer for no reason, fx's will lock up my machine or just flat out not work right and then I'm told they work on others machines so it must be me, scratch settings are still not right EVEN when I gave you the correct number, I can go on and on and no I don't post these errors because I don't have time to sit around and troubleshot.
And once I'm told "well everythig is fine on my machine".
Come on already, there is no way I'm ever gonna use this program live if 1) I have to redo my settings EVERY time I open the program or 2) it can't even go an hour without glitching out due to an fx or it just decides I don't need sound 3) no QTZ file support and I have to use a plugin for syphon.
I started with this program 9 or 10 years ago and I've always pushed it to other people but this has gone on long enough.
And please spare me I'm the only 1 who is havin this problem because I shouldn't be!!

If VDJ doesn't create a settings.xml file then the most likely culprit is that something has changed the permissions. Try a repair disk permissions which should hopefully rectify that.
You'd need to provide more information that that to get any help at all, you know that!
We gave you the setting so you could set it how you wanted - which was your exact request, I remember you begging for the setting.
If you can't report them or help us replicate and troubleshoot them then I don't know what you expect us to do. Issues need reporting properly.
1 and 2 I've commented on above. 3 has been discussed elsewhere and can be kept to that thread as it is not a bug report.

Open Terminal and type the following:
cd ~\Documents\VirtualDJ
touch settings.xml
and see what happens.
As for deleting all traces, drag the app to trash and then delete Documents\VirtualDJ.

Ok I'll try it out tonight but you can clearly see everything was set to how it's supposed to be.
As for the scratch number I used the wrong term.
I'm talking about a revolution of the platters. I noticed that with every controller I've tried spinning the platters 1 revolution spins the on screen platters anywhere from 1 1/2 to as many as 3 revolutions! This not matching up gives the user an unnatural feel as I've said before. In my mind it only makes sense to have these match no matter what controller I'm using but it never does.......
As for the sound quitting on me, I'll be playing along (no fx's no loops nothing other then 2 tracks playing) and VDJ will just quit playing sound out of a channel on my mixer. There's no sign something is wrong or about to happen VDJ just stop. I have to completely restart my laptop to get sound back. Doesn't matter if I'm using cdj's or vinyl timecodes, out of no where it'll just happen.
2 weeks ago we had Jayceeoh playing and me being the guy pushing VDJ was going to have him scratch on a VDJ setup and what do you know. Sound just dropped out!! That was the final straw for me.
Anyways I just want the settings to be remembered and after that's solved I'll start posting every problem I've had and some still have over the past 8 months. From both the Mac side as well as the PC side

Another reason for not saving may be that vdj is locking up or crashing during exiting, although I would think you would see some message if that happens.

@Adion the only thing I've noticed is VDJ closes a lot faster then before. Other then that I'm not seeing anything weird or different .
