I really have not seen any tutorials on using video....now what I'm assuming is that lets say your dj'ing at a party and they have a big screen you can play video while dj'ing your audio tracks right? But i'm not sure how to do all this...can ya help?

Also does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get videos to go along while I'm mixing trance?

I am a pro user with Virtual 8
how do I play a video in a non video tract
before I just droped the video in the window that the audio track is playing in V-7 but that dont
work in 8 please advise

drop the audio file into a deck
drop the videofile you want to assing into the VIDEO PREVIEW WINDOW of the specific deck
done :-)

That is how it works on virtual 7 but it does not work that way on virtual 8
I have tried it many times
Any other possibilities

Make sure you are working with the latest build.
Just tried it here and it works perfect.
keep in mind: you have to drop the assinged file in the Video preview window of the specific deck like in the screenshot

Also ensure the option 'videoCreateLinkOnDrop' is enabled.
