My VirtualDJ 8 FREE will not open (program will not open even from shortcuts) even after re-installing and trying the settings change. It was working until just today it stopped working. I have not done anything that I think could have affected it today or on previous days. Please can you help as this software is very useful for me? P.S. I don't use any dj decks with Virtual DJ.

You can try 2 things:
1) Go on "Documents\VirtualDj" folder and delete "Settings.xml" file. This will reset all your settings and will force the program to run as if it was never installed on your system.
If this fails, then try nr 2:
2) Go on your computer's Device Manager and check your Display adapter. If it's "Standard VGA Adapter" (or something like this) then you need to install the proper graphics drivers for your GPU, otherwise VirtualDj won't run.
