Topic: Import/transfer VDJ7 tracklist to VDJ8

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is it possible to transfer or import the tracklist file/information from VDJ7 to VDJ8?

It should automatically do it when you run it for the first time.
 
if your tracks are on an external drive make sure its connected
 
I think I'm going to test (a bit sozzled now so manyana) but shouldn't V8, if no V8 DB is present but a V6 DB is, then it should work it's magic regardless of first boot , (maybe it does, I suppose I'll find out later)
 
If there is no V8 database and folders (in the case of external drives) then it will create one from the old database.
