I had that as well and can't remember how I fixed it ........

When you say you 'installed the apk' what do you mean? You installed it on your new device from the play store? Or you copied the apk from your old device to your new one?

I seem to remember I copied it across with Titanium Backup and it wouldn't work. Once I cleared the cache & data then reinstalled it all was working again.

Yes I extracted the Apk_File from my old device from my PC as the screen was broke and i could not see it i then installed it on my new device and it says NO VALID LICENSE FOUND

Go to application manager, clear cache, clear data then uninstall it.

Then go to play store and reinstall. that should sort it.

I already tried this it didn't solve my problem

Why didn't you just install it from the play store like normal? Surely that's easier than extracting the APK, copying it over and reinstalling it? Did something prevent you from doing that?

The software is licensed against your google account and the actual license status is determined and returned by Google themselves, so please make sure you have the correct google account on your device.

Thanks and i fixed my problem had to factory reset my device and sign in with my google account i purchased the application with I have 2 different emails work/personal had not realized i purchased the app on my work email thanks for all the effort and help guys // for future reference i have recently just realized/(Learned) that i can have multiple accounts on the same device but the one that you use 1st during initial device setup becomes locked to the device and can only be removed with a factory/master reset

I've no idea, I've never used it. I also don't own any iOS devices myself at present.

For our remote, just enable USB tethering and you should be good to go.

Yeah that's not the same thing then, there's is actually midi over USB where ours is not.

Anyway we can get it to work over USB without the need to tether??

Love the remote. I use a HTC One M8 and it's flawless. I tried Tablet skin, but the sliders at the bottom were missing. I could not find a default value in VDJ8 or the remote. There is no default skin to fall back to, but instead of uninstalling/Re-installing the app, just clear your App Data, and Cache from your Android device and it sets the default skin back on the device.

Click the + sing next to the vinyl and you can use your mixer and volume control.

Not really, I don't always have WiFi and I'm not gonna carry a router around as for it being called a "remote" that's just a fancy way of saying "wireless controller" which that's all it is to me, I don't use it for the library, I use it as a SP1 so yeah I'd like to see this also connect via USB.

There is no nice way to do that for Android - you could do it using ADB but that requires the right drivers, developer and debugging mode on the Android device etc, it's a mess.

I couldn't say for iOS.

The bug regarding the non-scrolling was reported on 19th June, which was nearly 11 weeks ago.

This is getting a bit ridiculous, considering it is a paid app it should be getting a bit more attention. The exe is getting a weekly bug fix but this is just getting ignored like the last version.
