My favorite stands are thee "Hercules" and "Crane" stands.
Both are solid and have stood the test of time by my standards.
I highly recommend either one.
So what's your favorite and why??

I have this one. It's lightweight and I can put my Yoga 2 in touchscreen tablet mode.
Excellent stand.

I used one of these Stanton Uberstands for many years. Designed to fold down into a zip case the same size as a 12" vinyl record. My gear is in a flightless now, so, only take it as a standby in case of limited space.
I added velcro to the top of it and also to my cooling plate so that it sits securely on top of it.

I have several. The Crane stand is very nice. As is the Uberstand. Two of mine are not really intended for mobile use, more of a semi-permanent type stand. They do articulate in a lot of cool ways. I think there are pictures of those in my blog here. PSSL is now offering the Odyssey stands in different colors now. That's a nice change of pace.
As with most things, personal taste and budget are the two major driving factors.

I use Odyssey stand. I like how it clamps to my coffin case or can be freestanding. The shelf is nice too.
