Since I upgraded to Windows 8 PC (still using VDJ7), I have had a problem with videos showing up very dark. Clipbank and slideshows show up nice and bright, but Music Videos are hardly seen. Is there a setting that I am missing?

By any chance are your deck faders all the way up? I believe the faders fade the video to black by default.

I would assume the same.
You can change this behaviour in config - video - fade to black (or something like this)
