I'm tempted to subscribe to the ContentUnlimited Video Service. But there doesn't appear to be any way to review the catalogue before shelling out £50. Does anyone know if it has a decent catalogue of 60s to 00s tunes or is it mostly current chart and club dance stuff?

Just simply try to search your desired tracks.
Matches will be found and displayed according to your CU Settings in the Options Tab....
they are only 30sec playable without subscription...
