whats changed and will it utilize the graphic cards anti-aliasing features?

why have you done this? tool tips are still handy for me even when im using my touch screen.. will things like pressing CPU Meter stop the info tool tip from popping up?

Since there is nothing really like moving the pointer without clicking for touch-screens, most of the time you'll end up with tool tips on top of buttons/sliders you just used, blocking their view.
Vdj8 used the video card's anti-aliasing since the first release.

I also would like, to learn what's improved by the Video engine. I'm using only Videos in my sets and that's something that really concerns me :)

Could you post a screenshot where you can see that? (And some specs about the video you are playing and the screen you are displaying it on?)
It sounds unlikely, unless the driver settings have been forced to ultra-low quality or something like that.
The improvements are general updates to the decoders used.

Why Virtual DJ 8 doesn't run videos (MP4 Video, 1920x1080 Hd, Length 00:01:39, 203MB, frames 29, total bitrate 17065kbps ) and Virtual DJ 7 does?

I only get that if I set videoResampleQuality to high.
So try to set it to medium.

Still getting BSOD when playing HD videos.... Everytime. Tuesday night i went all night without a crash, but the videos i played as well as the karaoke files weren't in HD. The same HD files play PERFECTLY in VDJ7.4.2. Something is broken in vdj8

for the record, software cannot cause a bsod... only bad drivers and faulty hardware can...
it might help if you could post a picture of the text on the BSOD, so we can help you figure out the real cause...

Actually, software can cause a BSOD, device drivers are software. I can also write a small C++ program that corrupts memory register, writes this bad register into the Windows registry, and then then does a re-read of that value. As Windows matures, they are less susceptible to these types of crashes, however give me an IDE and a compiler, and I'll get Windows to BSOD in about 10 minutes.
