Topic: Copy to... and database

AFAIK, if you are using the "copy to" function of VDJ browser, the database should update itself to the new filepath of the files.

At the weekend we tried to copy some files from one external via VDJ browser to a new clean external.
The files were copied correct, but no database was created and so no Cue-point, playcounter...

Am I missing something, or shouldn't VDJ create the database if I copy files to another location?
Or is this just happening if I move files?

When you do that there should indeed be a database.xml on the second hard drive, with the data copied from the original database.xml

That didn't happen.
There is only a database.xml if you copy the whole drive. Legit, because the source external has a database.xml.

But if you just copy some folders, no database is created.

If this is a bug and gets fixed, please consider that it is possible to copy from different externals to a 3rd external to merge files e.g.
