Hi!
I want to use an additional controller (only with pads) toghether with my Numark N4 so I can mangage sampling and effects etc. in an more easier way.
My first question, Is it possible to have two controller at the same time in Virtual DJ 8 to apply this type of setup?
Next question, If yes, I know Novation Launchpad is the type of controller I looking for but will there be any other suitable controller for this, maybe with less pads than Novation LaunchPad.

Yes, you can use two controllers.

How many pads do you need? Products you may find suitable:

Akai LPD8, MPD18, MPD26
Korg PadKontrol, NanoPad II
IK iRig Pads
Vestax Pad One
Arturia BeatStep
Onmitronic Pad-12
Reloop Neon

Suitable for me should be 15-20 pads.

Furthermore, do you even know if the skin for Ipad is suitable for this kind of use?
 
Hey there,

I am also wanting to find a set of beat pads for my Numark Mixtrack Pro 2. I found the iRig Pads at Sam Ash the other day, but before I could buy it I needed to see how it works with the samples and effects.
 
If it's midi it can be mapped however you wish.
