Can someone help me understand or give me an example as to how I can replicate ClipBank & Random, SBDJ scrollText and Text2D effects in v8 the way it appears to run in v7, Please, I been wanting to do this in v8, but been unable.

For random video clip playback on demand or automatically you can use slideshow.
For specific video clip playback on demand you can use the sampler.
I haven't ported ScrollText to v8 yet; it's very much a work in progress as and when I get time.
