After getting the lastest update, anytime I load a fresh new download that is not in library, it forces VDJ to shut down and restart. It did this for new tracks added to music library after drag and dropping, refreshed library and same thing happened again. Any type of fix would be helpful.

I would advise you to install the BUILD 2126 (PUBLIC) version as explained here. Do not use the update till we have solved the problem with the next build.
