Topic: VDJ8 skips in every song regardless of file type

Latest build of vdj8. Laptop is a HP envy 17 with i7, 8gb ram and nividea hd graphics. all drivers are up to date. running with denon mc600 mk2. EVERY song at some point skips. It doesn't matter if it is an audio file or video. Firmware and software is up to date on the denon as well. No problems with the same files, pc and controller using vdj 7.4.2

I've never used it without the denon... why would it do so with the denon attached?

latency is also set very high...
