These USB3 externals seem to have flimsy connections, if my drive gets knocked a touch it will disconnect.
In VDJ7 this would just cause my folders to disappear in the browser until the drive reconnects, and they'll appear again.
in VDJ8 this event almost always causes the software to hang, and it can't be recovered from.
I'm going to buy another drive as I need a new back-up solution, but this is clearly a bug where 8 is especially temperamental.

I should add that I'm running the PC version on windows 7.
