Hi,
When I select a folder on the left and the search above the browser then hit that same folder on the left, the browser not get refreshed with the folder contents.

I agree, your action is strange.
Why would you need to "hit that same folder"? You've already selected it in your first step.
Simply clear your search and the entire folder contents will be displayed.
