I am using VDJ 8 free version. Every time I close VDJ I am losing all my settings. When I re-open everything seems to go back to factory settings. In addition to that I then have to re-scan my entire music folder to get my bpm, key, etc. Is there a way to keep my preference settings and scanned library, so I can just open it up and start using it without having to go in re-scan and set my preferences?

Wow....Incredible. Not one response. Thanks a lot guys. This seems like it should be something that's not to hard to figure out. I love VDJ, but if I can't even get an answer to a simple question, maybe it's time to move on.

Well perhaps if you provided a little more detail about your setup....
For the majority of people, VDJ works fine straight out of the box. If your system is not saving settings or the database, then you need to check and ensure that you have write permission for whichever directory or drive you're using.
