Topic: remove from DB does not work correctly

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Tracks are in C:\ and D:\ and i:\ (all internal win ntfs partitions)
Tracks in the Database on c:\ can not be removed from DB!
Will be still in xml and visible eg in filterfilder group by drive

Try this:
put some Tracks from c:\..... per drag & drop in a fresh and empty virtual folder
->the will be added to db
make [remove from db]
delete from virtual Folder
make Filterfolder e.g. group by drive
you will still see the deleted Tracks
Open xml file. They are still inside

Problem:
you delete those tracks and get a Database error message about missing files (via group by drive)
no way to delete this Tracks in database to get rid of the missing files error, couse its physical deleted

2. i:\ is ignored in options. (288) When i put some Tracks from i: with drag and drop in a virtial folder, they will be written im c: Database?

3. How to show those "hidden" Tracks separately?
group by drive with exists=1 & In SearchDB = 1 -->will WORK and show 'inverted Data'
group by drive with exists=1 & In SearchDB = 0 -->will NOT WORK
group by drive with exists=1 & In SearchDB != 1 -->will NOT WORK
group by drive with exists=1 & In SearchDB = '' -->will NOT WORK
only way which work is:
group by in searchDB

1. Remove from db only removes the tracks from showing up on a search.
To clean up deleted files use browser options -> database -> remove missing files from search db

2. Tracks will be stored on the main database on c: if there is a problem creating the database file. (Does vdj have permission to create i:\virtualdj folder and the database.xml file inside?)

3. Will be fixed
