First off; I don't mean the Analyze Bpm etc option under batch that i get when I right click on a folder!
I mean the option Re-Analyze Bpm etc that shows up when I right click on a track.
Or can anyone tell me what the difference between these two options is?

The only difference is Batch does multiple files snd the other does only 1 file.

Are you still seeing differences, with AM poi between batch and single?
I don't know if it would help but an external keyboard macro program might be the answer

hhhmmmm, if it's the same thing I must be imagining things. Here's what I did;
remove the database and open V8(2073.890), I don't have V7 installed, so V8 creates a brand new empty database.
Batch scan an album(Bob Marley Legend) but I guess any album will do, then open the poi editor for the first track and hit the re-analyze option and watch what happens to the AM poi's, but be sure to open the poi editor each time.
repeat this for each song, sometimes the difference is very clear!
After the batch scan, there were some songs ie "three little birds" & "buffalo soldier" with the fade out poi placed after the end of the track and this is what causes those embarrassing silences during dinner when using AM in remove intro outro mode. After using the Re-Analyze option the AM poi's are better placed.
I only became aware of this after reading a post from Adion somewhere relating to smartmix.
can anyone replicate,reproduce this and confirm that I'm not going crazy?

yes i can confirm single scanning adds a few automix points that were missing from the batch scan must be a bug....
tried it on 2 tracks that were batch scanned a few days ago and it seems two of the automix points got added tempo end and mix cut in my case....
i assume this is what you mean
seems batch mode needs a update to match single mode performance

@ loco
you lost me there, I don't know what one o' them things are. But it's ok, I'll wait until the team upgrade the batch option and then rescan my music
