Hey guys, I'm having a problem getting virtual dj pro full to work with my m-audio xponent controller. The software is reading the controller in the configurations but it does not show any connectivity on the screen when I press buttons on the controller . I've been looking at a bunch of forums regarding this problem and can't really seem to find one to explain how to fix it. I'm using virtual dj pro full on a mac osx yosemite 10.10.1

There could be an issue using such an old controller with a brand new OSX..anyways, please provide us some data to see if we can help here..
Launch VDJ 8, goto Config-->Options tab and make sure the "Show Advanced Settings" is enabled.
Search for the setting createMIDIlog , set it to Yes and close VDJ 8.
Open VirtuaLDj 8 and close again.
Post here the content of the Report Log .txt file you will find in /Documents/VirtualDJ folder.
PS. did you check if any Mac OS drivers are available for the unit ?

Thank you for your response. There are no other OS drivers available for the unit.

It seems that the unit is properly detected and identified.
In Config->Controllers tab, you should be able to see the Xponent on the left side.
At the right side, is the "factory default" mapping available in the Mappings drop down field ?
If the Xponent is selected from the top -left list, and you press buttons or move sliders, do you get the corresponding Keys in the bottom-Key Learn section ?
If not mistaken the Xponent offers a switcher to select if you want to control Decks A and B or Decks C and D. check if the unit needs to be on the one or the other position.

The factory default mapping is there, and the corresponding keys from the controller are being selected in the bottom key learn section. I also put the unit in every possible section in the control decks and its still not moving anything on the screen.

The names of the Keys you re getting in the Key Learn section start with MODEB ? E.g. when you press the PLAY button, does it show the PLAY or the MODEB_KEY ?
Do the keys show proper assigned actions ?
On what decks is the unit assigned to ? (Deck Assignment field)

It says Modeb_Play, Modeb_volume, etc... The proper keys are assigned to the proper function and the deck says "Automatic (1,2). Image 3 is when the functions on the controller are pressed and admitted to the key learn section.

hmm its like it sees 2 devices there. Btw, you dont have any definition files in /Devices folder, right ?
It also seems that the 2nd entry (Xponent unit) in the list is working. So if you try to set the 1st one to "Ignore" and have the 2nd one as "factory default", still not working for you ?

Did you resolve this issue?
I have vdj8 I Windows 7 and my xponent
Is seen and detected but will not work.
Said audio sample bit rate is wrong or something.
Is it not supported. Worked fine on pro7. I tried changing to 48
