Topic: scratch quality sound , track stopped and track playing

why does the scratch sounds better when the track is stopped? if I turn on Play(Motorized platter rotating) the scratch does not sound so good like when the track is not playing,there is a lot of stutter on the movement, when the track isn't playing it sounds much better,like vinyl...

did a fresh osx install,all sounds better now...
